I was that person at the scoreboard this year! Let me defend myself... there I was, looking to see what Holiday had earned in his 3rd and 4th tests ever.
Imagine my surprise when I saw a 68.5% at First Level 3 (his practice test for the BLM Final on Sunday)
... then I saw a 64.5% at Second Level 3 - FIRST PLACE!
... then I saw that Barbara and Prosecco WON THE BLM FOURTH LEVEL MFS FINAL!!!!
I ran out so fast to tell everyone, I didn't even look to see what Barb's score was.
DAY ONE: Going very well!
No less important was Ferrero's performance at the BLM Second Level Senior B Final. The little guy went into that indoor like he was casually schooling at home. Many competitors had problems with the ring, the overhead speakers with music playing and the giant metal roosters (where do you buy those?!?!). He ended the day JUST out of the ribbons, with a ninth place. What a star!
Ferrero's earlier performance that day qualified him for next year's BLMs. A year ago he was doing Training Level and was a nervous nelly in the ring. Now he trots in like a seasoned competitor... and ready for his debut with Jennifer at the November Morven Park show. They are going to do very well, I think.
